Jared Windmüller was born in 1973, in Joinville (Santa Catarina - Brazil), currently lives and works in Utah, USA. In 2001, at the beginning of the transition from analog to digital photography, he moved to Japan, where he lived and started his professional carreer as a photographer. In 2007 he spent a while in Europe where he studied Photography at IDEP (Escola Superior d’Imatge i Disseny) in Barcelona, Spain. In Brazil he launched his own fine art gallery. His images intended to explore the beauty and emphasize the grandeur of landscapes and nature. Jared’s abstract compositions sometimes consist of elements of nature or comprises architectural elements. He has travelled widely around the world to capture art from some of the most outstanding places. His works have been published in many significant Brazilian newspapers and magazines and he was a speaker for major photography conferences, printing and imagery expositions all over the country.
